Lifetime Warranty

All of our rings are precision constructed using only the highest standards, practices, materials, and craftsmanship. We are so proud and confident in our rings that we offer an industry-leading lifetime warranty on every ring you purchase from Hanover Jewelers.

If your ring ever cracks or breaks from accidental damage, send it back to us and we will replace it. Contact us at any time and we'll work with you to confirm the defect. There is a small processing fee charged for warranty claims 30 days after your purchase.

If your ring is no longer being manufactured, we reserve the right to substitute it with a similar style. We are not responsible for any sentimental value of the original ring.

Alterations or customizations to the ring, except for engraving, will void the warranty. Any engraving that has been done will need to be redone either through us or through a third party at your expense. The warranty does not cover engraving. This is because engraving is offered as a service at a one-time fixed cost to us.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including scratches. While our rings are highly durable and scratch-resistant, they are not scratch-proof. Nothing is. Even a hard diamond can be cut.

Warranty covers damage to the ring only, but not the inlay. Damage to the inlay, while unfortunate, is considered part of normal wear and tear. Inlays like gemstones, dinosaur bone, and wood may not be as resistant as the ring itself, and should be treated with care. Any stones that fall out of the ring are not covered by the warranty. If you wish to replace lost or damaged stones, there will be a replacement fee.

If the ring contains precious metal (like 14K gold), there will be a 20% warranty fee for any exchange under warranty. Precious metal rings require approval before being returned, otherwise they will be returned to sender. Please contact us first before returning your precious metal ring.

Lifetime Re-Sizing

Due to the extreme hardness of our tungsten carbide, ceramic, and cobalt chrome rings, they cannot be resized like traditional gold or platinum rings. So if your finger size ever changes, you will need a new ring. Because of this limitation we offer a lifetime re-sizing warranty. If you ever need a new size, contact us and we will exchange it for as long as you own the ring. There is a small processing fee charged for resizing exchanges 30 days after your purchase.

Warranty Terms

  • Warranty only covers accidental damage, but not intentional. When we receive your ring we will be able to verify if the damage was accidental.
  • Rings exchanged under warranty or for resizing are subject to a processing fee 30 days after your purchase.
  • Precious metal rings will incur a 20% warranty fee for every exchange.
  • You are solely responsible for all shipping fees, including customs, taxes, and duties.
  • Hanover Jewelers is not responsible for the sentimental or intrinsic value of the original ring.
  • Rings can only be replaced for the exact same style and width.
  • Hanover Jewelers may substitute a similar style ring if your original ring has been discontinued.
